My name is Kevin Craig. Here's the kind of Internet Marketing Guru I'm looking for:

1. You must have a gut-level agreement with my political philosophy.

   1. You don't have to agree with every detail;

   2. You just have to want me to succeed in getting my ideas out to a large audience. In some sense I want a "fan." If you like my idea so much that you're willing to help me without charge, you're the one I'm willing to pay double your normal rate.

2. By the first Tuesday in March, 2010, I want to build a list of 10,000 people in Southwest Missouri who can say, "Yes, I agree with the idea of 'Liberty Under God.'" Like-minded people outside of SW Missouri are, of course, desirable as well, but I want to be taught how to use the Internet to target a geographic locality, something I haven't seen done.

3. You must be willing to allow me to defer payment of your fee until after my product starts selling.

   1. Your willingness to do this must come from the "gut-level agreement" in #1 above, and your desire to promote it.

   2. America's Founding Fathers were willing to risk "our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor" to promote "Liberty Under God." I've sacrificed tens of thousands of dollars for this cause. You must be willing to risk something as well. In this case, it's the interest you could earn on your fee until I start making money on the Internet.

   3. Keep reading and I think I can convince you that I have a marketable product and I'm the man to market it successfully -- with your expertise and mentoring.

Allow me to introduce myself.

I passed the California Bar Exam. I've been told California's is the toughest Bar Exam in the world.

Although I passed the California Bar Exam, I was denied a license to practice law because my allegiance to God is greater than my allegiance to the government. My final brief before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco was written by three well-known professors of Constitutional Law and a former California Supreme Court Justice. After passing the Bar Exam I began using my skills to help the homeless. I rented a 12-room house in a bad part of town and invited the homeless to stay in the extra rooms. I helped them get jobs, get off drugs, and fed thousands of people as a way of getting to know them and deciding who would make a good candidate for my program. For nearly ten years I obtained discarded food from grocery stores, hospitals, restaurants, and other charitable organizations. On a budget of about $40,000/yr (no tax dollars) and some dedicated volunteers, we served more people than government institutions with budgets 10-100 times as large. And during this time I took no salary. I was part of a radical anti-communist movement that began during the Great Depression.

I formed my own non-profit organization called "Vine & Fig Tree." The name comes from the Old Testament Prophet Micah, who told of a day when we beat our "swords into plowshares" and everyone dwells safely "under his own vine and fig tree." America's Founding Fathers quoted this prophecy many times during the early years of America. In my spare time while working with the homeless, I wrote about this idea and created nearly 2,000 web pages using AOL screen names from people I knew who weren't using the webspace that came with their account. There's no vision like this on the web. Whether you're a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, or anything else, on my web pages you will find things you agree with, things you disagree with, but always things that challenge your thinking. Well-written. Intelligent. Documented. There is an untapped market for these ideas. Here's a couple of emails I've received:

I do not have one single penny in my bank account. I do not have one penny in any retirement fund. I have no social security benefits coming to me. This is why I'm asking you to defer collection of your fee until I earn it through the marketing machinery you'll tell me how to create.

I am now doing two things.

1. I am preparing an online Bible study course.

   1. I have been testing this course for a few years at a school called "Future Men" (again, on a "pro bono" basis).

   2. This school takes troubled teens and tries to help them become successful adults.

   3. I believe there is a great niche market for this Bible Study course among teens and adults of all ages.

   4. I will raise money through this online class to pay your fee.

   5. I estimate a subscription price of $9.95/mo is not unreasonable.

   6. I'm also re-packaging it as a high-priced coaching program (more than $97/mo).

2. I am running for Congress

   1. It's a strictly educational venture.

   5. I believe a remarkably effective campaign can be waged on the Internet at near-zero cost.

   7. I will not win. The incumbent won the last election with nearly 80% of the vote. People don't care. Incumbents always win.

   8. But I will wake people up. More people will care. Many people are hungry for this message.

   9. This is the fifth time I have run for office. I will campaign till I die. In 2006, the Republican incumbent lost 50,000 votes over 2004; the Democrats lost 12,000 votes. I dramatically increased my votes with no funding, increasing my percent of votes ten-fold.
